Account Types

Share Accounts (Savings)

A savings account is also known as a “share account,” or, your “share” of the Credit Union. When opening a primary share account (savings account), this is what makes you a member. Once you become a member and maintain a minimum of $25.00 in your savings account, you are entitled to take advantage of all products, services and promotions the Credit Union offers its members. Also, your immediate family and household become eligible to join. Dividends are set by the board and are paid quarterly on balances over $100.01.

Membership in the Credit Union is a lifetime benefit. Whether you relocate, retire, or change employers you can retain your account with us.

Checking Accounts

With a minimum Share Savings balance of $25, members may open a Credit Union Checking Account (subject to approval.) There is no minimum balance requirement to maintain the Checking Account. An annual dividend on a minimum average daily balance of $100.01 is paid monthly. Dividends are set by the Board. The first box of checks ordered is available at a discounted price. Additional features include unlimited transactions, free online bill pay, free mobile app, text alert banking, and a Visa Debit card is available.

Christmas Club Accounts

With a minimum Share Savings balance of $25, this is a year-round savings account designed to help members save for the holiday season. It runs from November 1st through October 31st. On November 1st the credit union will automatically deposit the balance into the member’s Share Account. Deposits may be made at any time through payroll deduction/direct deposit, over the counter, night deposit, or by mail. This account also pays an annual dividend set by the board.

Vacation Club Accounts

The Vacation Club Account is available with a minimum balance of $25.00 in your Share Savings Account. Our Vacation Club Account is very similar to our other club account except members are entitled to limited access. Two withdrawals per calendar year are permitted without penalty. This account also pays an annual dividend set by the board.

Time Share Certificates

Six Month, 12 Month, and 24 Month Time Share Certificates are available. Dividends are set by the board.

A Time Share Certificate is available with a minimum balance of $25.00 in your Share Savings Account. A minimum deposit of $1,000 is required to open a Time Share Certificate.

ATM Cards

ATM Cards provide members with quick access to their cash anytime—day or night. It can be used at any ATM carrying the Cirrus, Pulse, CU24 and Jeanie Logos. The credit union does not own its own machines therefore you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator. The credit union will charge $.75 for all ATM withdrawals. Here’s a list of surcharge free ATM’s. Members can withdraw up to a maximum of $300 daily from an ATM.

Debit Cards

Our VISA Debit Card provides members with access to their checking and savings accounts and can be used anywhere the VISA logo is displayed. With our card, members have free Point of Sale purchase power and cash back options around the world. Members will also have the option to order goods or services by mail, internet or telephone from places that accept VISA. Members may purchase up to a maximum of $1,500.00 per business day and withdraw up to $500.00 in any one business day from an ATM. The credit union does not own its own ATM’s therefore you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator. Here’s a list of surcharge free ATM’s. The credit union will charge $.75 for all ATM withdrawals.
